Great Big Holiday Sale
Through Dec. 5: Purchase local handmade goods for holiday gifts while supporting area artists with disabilities during St. Paul’s Interact Center for Visual and Performing Arts holiday sale. Due to pandemic restrictions, Interact progressive visual arts studio and theater company has moved its popular Great Big Holiday sale online. The online mart, currently underway, features more than 60 artists with items that include hats, scarves, blankets, drawings, paintings, weavings, jewelry and ceramics. Craft Bash 2020
Through Dec. 6: American Craft Council’s Craft Bash 2020 will go virtual while spotlighting handmade goods from more than 70 artists from across the country. Via an online marketplace, visitors will be able to purchase crafts ranging from ceramics and jewelry to fashion and home goods to apothecary and candles. Julmarknad Holiday Market 2020
Through Dec. 20: American Swedish Institute’s popular holiday market features online sales and virtual activities this year that highlight local and regional artists and their works such as jewelry, glass, textiles, wood and ceramics. On Saturday, Dec. 5, a Virtual Julmarknad day held via Zoom will offer artist panels and some personal shopping experiences from artists. asimn.org
Guthrie Online Holiday Shop
Ongoing: While closed for in-person shopping, the Guthrie Store is offering plenty of products including through a collaboration with a nonprofit youth organization as well as dozens of local artists. Together with The Bridge for Youth, a nonprofit providing safety and stability for homeless and runaway youth in the Twin Cities, the Guthrie Store is featuring a donation bundle to help benefit youth in need. The limited-design bundle comes with a fleece blanket with carrying strap as well as a 20-ounce hot/cold thermos (bundle $55; sold separately $30 and $25). Shoppers have the option to purchase these items for themselves or as a donation, in which case the Guthrie Store will donate the items purchased to The Bridge for Youth. 42nd Annual Landmark Center Old-Fashioned Holiday Bazaar
Dec. 3-13: Shop holiday gifts and support local artists at this annual boutique event, which has moved online this year. Expect plenty to choose from — jewelry, decor, woven and wearable art, children’s toys and clothes, handmade lotions, soaps, food items and more.
